Developing your Bill…

As a youth parliamentarian you will expect to meet with your team to every fortnight or so from the time you are notified as a successful applicant until the residential week in July.
Training is given on training weekend (held about 2 months before the Residential Week) and teams are allocated a Mentor who will help with Bill development.

Program Fees…

Some youth parliamentarians require financial assistance to participate in the program. Sponsorship can be sought by the participant with the support of their mentor and the YMCA. Sponsorship gained often covers the program fee and for regional participants, transport costs.
